// How to Use
Open the Monitor tab and add up to 3 domains. Use the exact root domain (e.g. yourdomain.com) or a subpage path. The dashboard saves one slot per domain and shows your last scan result at a glance — score, LLM reach, DR, and Google AI Overview status.
Switch to the Full Scan tab and enter any domain or URL. The tool queries the LLM mention index across major AI platforms, fetches real AI answers that cited your domain, checks Google AI Overview citation status, and pulls Domain Rating + organic keyword data from Ahrefs — all in parallel. Results appear in 10–15 seconds.
Your composite 0–100 score breaks down into four signals: LLM Reach (40 pts), LLM Citations (30 pts), Google AI Overview (15 pts), and Domain Authority (15 pts). Use the Keyword Drill-Down table to see exactly which queries trigger AI answers citing you, then export a branded PDF report to share with clients or your team.

The AI Visibility Score is a composite metric built from four real data sources — not estimates or guesses. Every point is traceable to a live API response.
How many AI searches per month result in an answer that includes your domain as a source. Aggregated across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other major AI platforms — the same data that powers our AEO Readiness Score tool. Scored on a log scale against a 1M-impression reference (global brands), so a score of 25/40 is meaningful for mid-size sites.
The raw number of times AI engines directly mention your domain in generated answers. Distinct from impressions: a page can appear in 10,000 AI searches but only be explicitly named in 500 answers. High mentions relative to impressions signals that AI engines trust your brand enough to surface it by name.
Whether your domain is cited as a source in Google's AI-generated answer box. We check live Google search results for your brand and parse the AI Overview citation list in real time. Three states: Cited (15 pts), AI Overview exists but your domain not included (5 pts), or not found (0 pts).
Ahrefs Domain Rating converted to a 0–15 point scale. DR is the strongest independent predictor of AI citation likelihood — LLMs are trained on the web and naturally surface high-authority domains more often. A DR 80+ site scores the full 15 pts; a new site with DR 0 scores 0.
